Sunday at the Truck Grand Prix - Jochen Hahn and Jamie Anderson win from pole to flag

17. July 2022Nürburgring - For the first time this season it wasn’t Norbert Kiss that started from pole in the first race of the day. A black smoke infringement in the Super Pole saw the reigning champ stripped of his timesheet-topping lap and demoted to P10 on the start grid.
Instead it was Jochen Hahn who, starting in the lead position, finished first after an outstandingly smooth drive in front of his home fans. Hahn did have somewhat of a challenge in the early laps from countryman Sascha Lenz, but from the fourth lap on he simply ran away with it.
Antonio Albacete completed the podium, ahead of Kiss, Adam Lacko, Steffi Halm, Téo Calvet, Jamie Anderson, André Kursim, and Steffen Faas.
Anderson’s P8 finish put him on pole for the final race, and in like manner as Lukas Hahn yesterday he seized the opportunity to take his second win of the season (the second of his career) ahead of Kiss and Halm.
Lacko, Lenz, Jochen Hahn, Calvet, Kursim, Lukas Hahn, and José Rodrigues made up the Top 10.
