Saturday at the Truck Grand Prix - Norbert Kiss and Lukas Hahn win from pole

16. July 2022Nürburgring - Saturday’s first race at the Nürburgring concluded with a predictable lights-to-flag victory for an unstoppable Norbert Kiss. The battle for positions raged right behind him, Adam Lacko salvaging P2 from Jochen Hahn while Antonio Albacete came thundering after.
Sascha Lenz, who’d been defending in second place all along, found himself in the gravel a few corners to the finish with a broken spring on his front axle.
Téo Calvet, Steffi Halm, André Kursim, Lukas Hahn, José Rodrigues, and Shane Brereton rounded out the top 10.
Lukas Hahn was in pole position for Race 2, and he too led convincingly from start to finish. Albacete kept the young Hahn relentlessly under pressure, but could find no way to overtake and Lukas took an extremely popular first win in the ETRC. Steffi Halm made it two Swabians on the podium. She was followed home by Kiss, Lacko, Téo Calvet, Lenz, José Rodrigues, and André Kursim.
