FIA WMSC ratifies 2020 ETRC calendar

05. December 2019Today the FIA confirmed that the World Motor Sport Council, presently convening in Paris, has approved the draft calendar for the FIA European Truck Racing Championship next season. As in the last two years, there will be eight race weekends in 2020.
Neither of the two alternative June weekends in the draft – for a then as-yet unconfirmed venue – figures on the official calendar. That gives the truck racers six weeks to prepare for the Truck Grand Prix and six weeks thereafter to brace for a flurry of four rounds in five weeks.
The WMSC also approved changes to the technical and sporting regulations proposed by the respective commissions.


25-26 April: Hungary, Hungaroring
23-24 May: Italy, Misano
6-7 June: Slovakia, Slovakiaring
18-19 July: Germany, Nürburgring
29-30 August: Czech Republic, Most
12-13 September: Belgium, Zolder
26-27 September: France, Le Mans
3-4 October: Spain, Jarama
