Seven races in 2025; Goodyear will continue as series sponsor and official tyre supplier through 2027

12. December 2024The second week of December is that time of year when the FIA World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) convenes to decide the calendars and other matters concerning the various championships it oversees for the following year.
For some weeks now, the fans and teams of the European Truck Racing Championship have waited in eager anticipation of the outcome of the WMSC meeting held yesterday – not only was the 2025 calendar to be announced, but also the selection of a tyre supplier for the next three seasons.
The FIA had issued an invitation to tender a couple of months ago, and it was Goodyear that won out once again. The company has produced racing tyres for the heavyweights of motorsport at its Luxembourg plant since 2003, and is known to be keen to expand its ETRC engagement as title sponsor. (It is also the official tyre supplier for the Championnat de France Camions.) Just last year Goodyear introduced an all-new tyre generation designed to deliver more grip in all track conditions.
The calendar for next season also reflects continuity. Once again there will be seven rounds, with Zolder reverting to its traditional September slot.

The 2025 ETRC calendar (only Sundays indicated):

18 May - Misano
08 June - Slovakia Ring
13 July - Nürburgring
31 August - Most
14 September - Zolder
21 September - Le Mans
05 October - Jarama
