Norbert Kiss and José Eduardo Rodrigues win on Saturday

29. September 2024Le Mans - Reigning champion Norbert Kiss came one leap closer to defending his title with a pole-to-flag win in the first race at Le Mans 2024. The MAN pilot was joined on the podium by Jochen Hahn and Antonio Albacete.
José Eduardo Rodrigues dominated Race 2, taking off from P2 on the grid into the lead in the first corner, an advantage he comfortably held till the finish.
Battles for the remaining positions down the order were furious and spectacular. After trading places for several laps it was André Kursim and Steffi Halm who got to step up to the podium after the Portuguese.
For most of the race the Iveco pilotess courageously kept Kiss behind her, allowing the Hungarian not the slightest chance to overtake.
