Norbert Kiss and Antonio Albacete win on Saturday

31. August 2024Most - MAN pilots Norbert Kiss and Antonio Albacete won the races Saturday at Autodrom Most. Starting Race 1 from pole position, Kiss led unchallenged till the flag. Jochen Hahn and Sascha Lenz finished in P2 and P3.
The running order was shuffled a couple of corners into the race, when André Kursim’s truck got airborne after a touch by another truck and the pilot momentarily lost control, skimming across the gravel and almost colliding with Kiss while rejoining the circuit.
Race 2 was also won by the polesitter, in this case Antonio Albacete. The Spaniard got off to an excellent start, pulling out a gap over the rest of the field. While Hahn did close in on the final laps, he simply ran out of road. Kiss followed in P3.
This time too there was a coming together in the first chicane, only it was John Newell’s truck that was knocked out of the race.
