Most preliminary report

August 2023After the summer break, it’s time for some spectacular action once again as the heavyweights of European truck racing go to battle at Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic this coming weekend. The Most event at the end of August traditionally kicks off the second half of the ETRC season, which this year features four rounds in five weeks, including the finale in Jarama at the beginning of October.
The full-season field has been enlarged by two guest pilots. Lukas Hahn will participate in his third event this year, and Adam Lacko makes a much anticipated return to the pack in the Freightliner of teammate Téo Calvet at his Czech Buggyra team’s showcase event.
The weather forecasts hold out mixed prospects – spells of sunshine and storm alternating. Experienced racegoers here know, though, that predicting the weather in Most is never a simple matter, and that conditions at this time of the year are as changeable as those at the Nürburgring.
