Saturday in Zolder - Lenz rains on Kiss parade, Hahn takes Race 2

10. September 2022Zolder - Sascha Lenz and Jochen Hahn were the winners on the first race day at Zolder. In a rain-soaked qualifying session, Norbert Kiss took pole ahead of Sascha Lenz, but it was Lenz who seized the lead at the first corner and adroitly defended it till flag-fall. Rain man Adam Lacko could do no better than come in a distant P3 in a progressively drying track.
In the day’s second race it was Jochen Hahn likewise who overcame polesitter and compatriot André Kursim at the start, going on to win by a comfortable margin from Kiss and Kursim.
