MAN Testing Days in Nogaro

15. April 2008Nogaro - Just to eliminate any wrong conclusion – of course pilots with RaceTrucks of other brands can participate as well, if they contribute to the costs. However, for the MAN teams these tests about 4 weeks before the first race – instigated by Egon Allgäuer – are meanwhile a must go. Certainly the Buggyra team, which was already in Nogaro for tests at the end of February, will come again. And also the Englishman Steve Horn, who bought last year’s Mercedes race truck from Jochen Hahn, is being expected to come. And, as always, several ‘second string’ truck racers, especially from France and Spain, will use the opportunity to do tests under hardest conditions shortly before the start of the season.
With the two Buggyra pilots, Markus Bösiger, and David Vrsecky, and the MAN top drivers, first of all Antonio Albacete, Jochen Hahn, and Egon Allgäuer, the hotly tipped title contenders will already meet here before the start of the racing season. And everybody is especially anxious to watch ‘MAN newcomer’ Hahn after his switch from Mercedes to MAN, and Allgäuer, whose new RaceTruck was constructed by Rosberg Racing.
