Friday at the Hungaroring - Kiss is quickest, takes pole by 0.7s from Lenz

10. June 2022Hungaroring - Contrary to all forecasts, the weather at the Hungaroring was wonderful today. The sky did cloud over at qualifying, but there was no rain.
Home hero Norbert Kiss dominated throughout, crowning his timesheet-topping outings in free practice with pole position in the evening qualifying session.
MAN-in-waiting Sascha Lenz will start alongside, his best time a yawning 0.696s slower. Lacko and Hahn will line up behind them on the grid, followed by Albacete, Halm, Calvet, Faas, Janiec, and Brereton.
There has been a last-minute change in the entry list – René Reinert having had to withdraw with a shoulder injury, his #77 Iveco will be piloted instead by Martin Gibson, who’s made quite a splash in the British championship in recent seasons with the Team Oliver Racing MAN.
