01. October 2021Jarama - A relaxed atmosphere reigned in the paddock at Circuito del Jarama today. The weekend here traditionally begins with free practice on Saturday, so the only items on the agenda were the administrative checks and the driver briefing.
The teams tuned their setups for the peculiarities of this circuit, and to recover strength after the breathless intensity of Le Mans followed by the trek of a thousand kilometres down to Madrid.
They will have a full day’s work tomorrow, with free practice, qualifying, and both races. Ticket sales have been characteristically brisk, according to the organisers, and so everyone in the paddock is looking forward to packed stands and lots of exciting racing.
