New Dates 2020 - Misano in November

03. April 2020As already reported, the restrictions in the context of the corona pandemic naturally also mix up the dates of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship. After the postponement of the race weekend at Hungaroring, the season opener on May 23rd and 24th would have been at the Misano World Circuit on the Italian Adriatic. As is well known, northern Italy is the area most affected by the coronavirus, so the date was cancelled today and postponed to November 14th and 15th.
At the same time, it was announced that the 24 Heures Camions planned for September 26th and 27th in Le Mans will also be postponed. This is not surprising either, as the classic 24 Hours of Le Mans had been moved from the traditional June date to September.
However, this does not mean a real rescheduling for the truck racing teams, because the race in Le Mans is postponed by a week to October 3rd and 4th – at that time the RaceTrucks would actually have started at the Jarama Circuit. The race in Spain now simply slides one week ahead, on September 26th and 27th.
