MKR Technology – New Renault Team

03. March 2010Up to now it was only a rumour, but now it’s official; Mario Kress has established a new truck racing team: MKR Technology. The RaceTruck constructer from Baden, who has been working for Buggyra for many years and also lives in Roudnice / Czech Republic, has constructed a new Renault Truck that is going to awe the competition by its sheer appearance. But anybody who knows Kress, who – as constructer and team boss – can look back at six individual wins in the European Championship and three victories with his team, will be sure that behind the martial front there is some well-engineered technology. After all, the Renault racing engine was always considered as particularly potent. Next week the first ‘acid tests’ will be carried out in Nogaro / Southern France, and Europe’s current most prominent truck tracers – who are not yet bound by contract elsewhere – were invited to join in, among them Markus Bösiger. And perhaps the Swiss and the German will once again be united in one team for the coming season.
