Premiere on the Ring

05. July 2008The Truck Grand Prix on the Ring is once again a forerunner when it comes to establishing a new media technology for truck racing. In the last two years there were already the commentaries from the circuit by Jörg Hennig and Hans-Joachim Ebertz as audio streaming live on the internet, and at last now the wishes of many truck racing fans, who cannot come to the Nürburgring for the TGP, are answered. They can watch the complete truckrace programme as video live streaming in the World Wide Web.
The ADAC Mittelrhein as organizer, in co-operation with bartscher.net, will, for the first time in connection with a round of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship, introduce a project where software specially-designed by bartscher.net is installed, so that now much more cost-efficient than before via a multitude of servers – in this case about 25 – several thousand users can simultaneously watch the races live and of high quality. Both on the WebPortal “truckracing.de / truckrace.info”, and on the website of the Truck Grand Prix „truck-grand-prix.de“ there will again be a TGP Special where you can not only call up press reports, results and pictures just after the races, but in addition you can now get a real live-feeling by watching the video streaming.
