Donington cancelled

11. June 2008This afternoon it was announced that the round of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship in Donington on July 26 and 27 is definitely cancelled. So the rumours that were already in circulation in Albacete, proved to be true. At that time it was said that there were several articles of the agreement the FIA and the organizers in Donington differed about, but now it was declared that the race was cancelled because of the high costs the organizers would incur for the FIA event. Now the meeting is shortened to one day where only the races of the British Truck Racing Championship will take place.
