TGP at the Ring 2010 – Advance Booking Office now open

Nov. 2009 - Believe it or not – in 2010 the Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring will celebrate its 25th ‚birthday’ and they will certainly use this occasion to offer some special gifts; that is, the ADAC begins their preparations extra early, although the TGP event – which traditionally takes place on the second weekend in July – was again postponed until July 23–25, 2010. While this year the reason for the postponement was the Formula 1 event, next year the TGP event would clash with the final of the 2010 FIFA World Cup which will take place on July 10th and 11th. And as many truck racing fans certainly are also football enthusiasts, the organizers wanted to spare the fans the inner conflict of having to decide whether to stay at home watching the football match on TV or to attend the TGP in the Eifel.
At present, tickets for all categories are still available, even the ‘Adventure Package’ which is always sold out rather early. It is the only ticket valid for 4 days, because the most exciting adventure – doing some laps as a co-pilot in a RaceTruck – is offered on Thursday already. And the FIA pilots don’t go easy on their co-drivers, but bomb down the track at full racing speed – and sometimes also go off the track. That’s why the fans should perhaps wait until after their ride in the RaceTruck before they indulge in the catering service which is also included.
And again there will be tickets available next year for the ‘Mercedes-Tribüne 4a’ (Mercedes grand stand); and ADAC members even get a 10 Euros discount. The most favourable weekend ticket is the ‘Bronzene’, which – at a price of 39.90 Euros – includes the following: access to the grand stands T11, T12, T12a and T14, the paddock and industrial estate, attendance at the open air concert in the Müllenbachschleife plus the round of the European Truck Trial in the off-road park.
And those who plan to buy a special Xmas gift should order the tickets not later than December 10, because then he or she will be able to give the original tickets to the presentee on Christmas Eve.
